Well-designed place to stay 3 km away from Safa and Marwa Holy Mountains. Responsible, extremely friendly staff towards all guests. Overall nice location close to the communal, the restaurant and the garden with a glass of wine after a long drive. Splendid food in the gastronomic restaurant in the vicinity.

We booked a recently refurbished double room, the service was excellent, and the staff were efficient.

Breakfast was very good for the price we payed.

The staff were friendly & helpful. The breakfast was good. The room was spotless. The bed comfortable and the water pressure and the temperature of the shower was excellent also the room was quiet.

The staff at Das Eckert are affable and amazingly nice. the double room had an exceptionally comfortable bed with a safe, mini-bar, and central heating. the view of the mountain from the hotel is particularly good. the experience at Das Eckert was really comfortable.

We had a neat and functional room with good facilities and everything was great!

The hotel was oK for the price and the rooms were clean.

What i Didn´t like is that the bath rooms should have at least more personal care products. There were only 1 soap and 1 moiturizing body lotion. Also the staff wasn´t so polite as i expected when you ask questions.

Clean and brilliant hotel with exceptionally good view of the mountain. Excellent and stunning location just a short walk from Basel for dinner. Enjoying a glass of wine in the garden after a long drive couldn't be better.

All in all a very comfortable stay, the venue met what we needed. It was a good small place to stay with a gastronomic restaurant, greatly enjoyed everything. The view of the mountain was pleasant and our room was well decorated. The bed was very comfy and the bathroom was large. The pool was nice and the staff was attentive.

Although everything was excellent, some of the staff were busy.

A cool and ideal place, would use them next time. the units are new, fashioned, newly renovated on a higher level. It's a nice detail to have amenities such as a safe, a mini, bar, and central heating available. the location offers a tranquil and stunning setting, surrounded by communal areas, a beautiful garden perfect for enjoying a glass of wine, and the restaurant.

The rooms are very clean and wifi access is 100% covered and is fast. Breakfast buffet is good but never changes and is not so varied. Walking distance to train station, bus and city center are fair.

80% of the staff is not very helpful. It must be hotel culture as also service is quite deficient and disorganized, on top of almost noone speaking English. The most helpful turned out to be the Italian waiter since my Italian is still more decent than my German. :) Would recommend this hotel only bases on purpose of visit. I would eventually recommend for a business trip and wifi availibility and speed is good it is clean and provides a good breakfast in a fairly central place but would not recommend for a leisure trip where feeling welcome is more important.

Room has a balcony and a lot of natural light. Very clean and beds are not big but comfortable.

Buffet breakfast is decent but never changes, always same offer and somehow limited. Staff has difficulties with English, communication is not very easy. Does not accept amex as payment method while it is possible to reserve with amex.
